A nanny looks after the child's daily needs: feeding, bathing and dressing, nap-time and routine management, age-appropriate play and supervision, and preparing baby food and bottles. School pickup or drop support can be included if agreed. The duties are written down with you before the nanny starts.

Medical or nursing procedures are excluded. Full household cleaning is not part of the job, though light child-related tidying is. Cooking for the whole family is handled by a cook, and tutoring beyond basic homework supervision is outside the scope.

Yes. Japa or postnatal care is offered as part of the babysitter/nanny service, usually as a live-in arrangement for the weeks after delivery. The japa helper supports the newborn and the mother with newborn handling, traditional massage, feeding support and rest, alongside routine baby care. This is non-medical support and does not replace advice from your doctor or paediatrician.

All three modes are available. Part-time slots suit households that need cover for a few hours, such as school-return or evening time; full-day nannies work roughly 8 to 12 hours; and live-in nannies are common for newborn and japa care or for parents with long or irregular working hours. Live-in arrangements need a sleeping space and meals provided by the household.

Yes. Every nanny's documents are checked and background verification is completed before placement, and profiles are kept on record. Because the helper is responsible for a child, families are encouraged to interview carefully, ask about prior childcare experience, and speak to the helper about routines and safety.

Yes. Shortlisted nannies can be interviewed in person, on video or by phone, and a trial period is usually agreed so you can see how the helper interacts with your child. Many parents stay at home for the first few days of the trial to hand over routines and observe.

A replacement policy is in place across all services. If a helper leaves, is irregular, or the fit is not right, you can raise a replacement request and a new profile is matched to your original requirements. The specific terms are shared with you at the time of booking.
