What if the nanny leaves or is not a good fit?
A replacement policy applies to nanny and japa placements. If the helper leaves or you feel the fit is not right for your child, you can raise a replacement request and a new profile is matched to your original requirements. The policy terms are shared at the time of booking.
What are the leave and holiday norms for a nanny?
A weekly off is standard for full-time and live-in nannies, with an agreed number of additional leaves for festivals and personal needs. Since childcare cover is hard to replace at short notice, most families ask for advance notice of planned leave and arrange backup for festival periods when helpers commonly travel home.
What does a babysitter or nanny do?
A nanny looks after the child's daily needs: feeding, bathing and dressing, nap-time and routine management, age-appropriate play and supervision, and preparing baby food and bottles. School pickup or drop support can be included if agreed. The duties are written down with you before the nanny starts.
What is not included in a nanny's role?
Medical or nursing procedures are excluded. Full household cleaning is not part of the job, though light child-related tidying is. Cooking for the whole family is handled by a cook, and tutoring beyond basic homework supervision is outside the scope.
